Castle Personal Training is a Corstorphine, Edinburgh based company who specialise in weightloss/toning and Pre and Post Natal exercise.
What can I say about 2014; Well, it’s been nothing if not exciting and hectic. Moved out of the Box gym where I used to work and set up my own studio in Leith, Edinburgh. Started off with a partner in that venture but that didn’t work out so, 3 months later, run the place by myself and have some other PTs work with me there. The premises are amazing; nice and spacious with plenty of off-street parking for all clients. It puts us well ahead of the competition. They are also constantly being worked on and upgraded with better kit and more facilities and, one of the best things about them, they are pet friendly! If you want to bring your dog, you can!
Sorry fella, we only train mommies and daddies.
The reason for making them pet-friendly is very simple; 2014 was the year we decided to get a little dog and she now guards the place…well, actually mainly plays in it but let’s call it guarding.
Gratuitous picture of our little Lola.
We’ve seen a nice steady increase in our PT business thanks to word of mouth from our existing clients and our Ultimate Nutrition Support package is going from strength to strength. We are in the process of setting up an affiliate program for Personal Trainers. It’s something I’m very excited about because it will help PTs and coaches from all over the world get their clients the proper nutrition advice they need, rather than relying on selling supplements or clients figuring stuff out by themselves. It means Personal Trainers no longer need to spend a lot of money on going on nutrition courses to finally be able to give their clients properly tailored nutrition advice. And because it’s online support, it’s available worldwide!
“Around the world, around the wooooooorld” as Daft Punk like to say.
On a more important note our clients have been achieving goals left, right and center.
We have clients who dropped 20Kg+, clients who achieved their aim of participating in endurance races, clients who learnt enough and are now still smashing it on their own, clients who kicked their cardio addiction, clients who looked stunning on their wedding day and clients who worked through their struggles and got there in the end.
2014 saw some clients make big life-style and career changes and you can just tell that 2015 is going to be their year. I hope 2015 will be as exciting for you as it will be for them.
To all our friends and clients, have a tremendous New Year and remember we are always there for you.
Whatever your objectives may be, I hope you have a tremendous 2015 and that you may accomplish them all.
Take care and see you in the New Year,
